At least 60 militants were killed during clashes with the Afghan national army (ANA) soldiers in various parts of Afghanistan.
Officials in the ministry of defense of Afghanistan said the militants were killed during the operations in six different provinces of the country.
The officials further added that 37 militants were also injured during the operations and another militant was arrested, according to (Khaama Press).
Afghan army troops also confiscated various types of weapons and explosives, including 55 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), during the operations, the officials said.
The anti-government armed militant groups have not commented regarding the report so far.
