Seven people were killed after a fire engulfed an apartment building in the U.S. state of Massachusetts early Thursday.
According to local fire agency, the blaze started at about 4 a.m. (0900 GMT) on the third floor of the apartment. About 50 residents live in the building in Lowell.
The exact number of injured people was not known and cause of the accident was under investigation.
