7 people drown in Nepal

Seven people were killed in Nepal\'s district of Sindhuli after they were swept away by a swollen river, local media reported Monday. Three others were missing in the incident that occurred about 80 kilometres south-east of the capital Kathmandu. The people were swept away as they attempted to cross the Kamala River. The bodies were recovered 100 metres downstream, dpa reported. Police said 13 people had been rescued.
