8 killed in Karachi violence

At least eight people were killed in acts of violence in different parts of Karachi. According to details, some unidentified gunmen opened fire at police officials in Industrial Area of New Karachi, killing a cop and injuring another. Police have also recovered a dead body packed in gunny bag from Machar Colony. According to police the deceased was subjected to sever torture. Armed person also shot dead two people near Quaid’s mausoleum while another man was gunned down in Bihar Colony. A man was also shot dead in Chakiwara while some unidentified persons opened fire and killed a security guard at Tippu Sultan Road.
