At least three people were killed in an air strike carried out by Ukrainian military aircraft against separatists in the eastern city of Donetsk.
Ukrainian aircraft shelled the center of Donetsk, killing three people and wounding several others, Russian television reported Wednesday. Meanwhile, Spokesman for Ukraine's national security and defense council Andriy Lytsenko said in statement that 18 Ukrainian military were killed and 54 others wounded in clashes with separatists eastern Ukraine during the past three days.
The Ukrainian forces are trying to encircle separatists groups in the east of the country.
