Fifteen people have been killed Saturday amid fresh shelling by pro-Russian separatists in government-held Mariupol in eastern Ukraine, the Euronews reported Saturday.
Local officials reported the news, but pro-Russian separatists denied targeting the city.
Mariupol lies on the edge of two rebel-controlled regions and on the Sea of Azov – a coastal route from the Russian border to Crimea which was annexed by Moscow last March.
Local police said many people were injured in the latest attacks with several fires caused by rockets hitting a multi-storey building.
