At least two people were killed in a bomb blast Saturday in the northern Nigerian city of Kano.The blast took place near a police checkpoint. Four security guards were wounded, the Kano police chief said, adding that several arrests had been made. The two who died were citizens of the neighbouring country of Niger, reported German press agency (DPA).Last week, some 20 people were killed in blasts at a bus station in Kano.
