
A landslide Tuesday in Jombang, Indonesia, killed at least seven people, emergency officials said. Torrential rains caused the landslide, burying at least 14 people rescuers were trying to locate, the Jakarta Post reported. The dead were identified as Lilik, 35, Khoirotun Nisak, 20, Istanto, 25, M. Sodik, 30, Rokhimah, 40, Sariyaji, 50, and Baharudin, the newspaper said. Sariyaji and Rokhimah were husband and wife. The Indonesian military and a search and rescue team were searching for the missing.
