Five civilians sustained injuries as a bomb went off in Afghanistan\'s Northern Kunduz city, the capital of Kunduz Province, on Sunday, said Salih Mohammad, a police official. \"A bomb planted inside garbage bucket went off when some police vehicles were passing the third precinct of Kunduz city, leaving five passersby injured,\" Mohammad told Xinhua. There were no casualties on police, he contended. \"It could be a remote-controlled bomb blast which took place at 12:35 pm local time,\" he said, adding investigation has been initiated into the case. The official put the attack on Taliban militants. However, the armed outfit has yet to claim responsibility.
