Boy, 12, dies in Michigan car crash, driver, 14, in critical condition

The driver involved in a fatal car crash early Wednesday in Milford Township, Mich., was just 14 years old, Cass County police said. Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. A passenger, Adrian Chiquito of the town of Niles, was killed. The driver and passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, police said. The unidentified driver was reported in critical condition at Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac, Mich., WSBT-TV, South Bend, Ind., reported.
