
Four South African airport employees were injured when a British Airways plane hit a building before take off at Johannesburg OR Tambo airport, the South African press agency reported Monday. According to dpa, none of the 180 passengers of the London-bound Boeing 747 had been injured during the foiled take-off attempt Sunday night, said Airport Company SA spokesperson Unathi Batyashe-Fillis. The injuries were minor for the four ground-handling staff members who were in the building when the aircraft struck, the spokesperson added. The cause of the accident is currently being investigated, said Batyashe-Fillis.
