Bulldozers are digging through tons of rocks and dirt in hopes of recovering 71victims of a landslide that occurred after two earthquakes struck in northern Afghanistan earlier this week. Afghan authorities said Wednesday that two bodies have been recovered so far and that 69 are still entombed in the rubble in Baghlan province\'s Burka district. Mahmood Haqmal, the spokesman for the province, says the victims\' families have been promised compensation from the Afghan government and humanitarian aid is being delivered to the area. The village of Sayi Hazara, which is home to about 20 families, was buried under an estimated 30 meters (yards) of rocks and dirt.
