Canada to continue financial aid to PA

Canada announced that it will continue its financial support to the Palestinian Authority, despite voting against the Palestinian bid at the United Nations, Wednesday said a statement by Canada’s foreign ministry Spokesperson. He said that Canada’s aid to the PA, which amounts to 399 million over five years, will continue despite its position not to recognize Palestinian at the UN. Canada was one of the nine countries that voted against the Palestinian bid that granted it a non-member state status in the UN.
