
A young Canadian snowboarder found injured in a wooded area at Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario died early Wednesday, police said. Taylor Ogram, 20, of Caledon, Ontario, was found by resort staff just after 1:30 a.m., less than an hour after police received a report he was missing, and he was pronounced dead at a Collingwood hospital, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. The ski hill had closed at about 10 p.m. Tuesday. Blue Mountain staff said Ogram was wearing a helmet but had suffered serious injuries. "We're very saddened to read of any injury to any of our guests," Paul Pinchbeck, Blue Mountain's vice president of marketing told the CBC, adding police were still investigating. . "And this is the most tragic of circumstances. Our feelings go out to the snowboarder's family and we'd just like to co-operate with the investigation in any way possible."
