Ceremony marking 13th Aban observed

Ceremony, marking 13th Aban (the Students\' Day and National Day of Campaign against Global Arrogance), was held outside former US Embassy in Tehran, called ‘Den of Espionage’. Students and people from all walks of life were present outside the compound to raise their protest at the US. The 13th Aban (November 4) marks the anniversary of three important events including Imam Khomeini’s banishment to Turkey in 1964, massacre of students in Tehran University in 1978 and capture of the US former embassy in Tehran in 1979. The students and other people were chanting anti-US slogans, condemning the US plots and crimes. Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili delivered a speech to the audience.
