
A gas explosion in a coal mine early Thursday in eastern China's Jiangxi province killed at least six workers, authorities said. Three more miners were injured in the 1:30 a.m. blast at the Hexing Coal Mine in Baitu, Xinhua News Agency reported. One of them was reported to be in serious condition.
