Commuter ferry strikes pier in New Jersey, several injured

At least six people sustained neck and back injuries Friday when a commuter ferry struck a pier in Exchange Place, N.J., officials said. Six people including two children were taken to Jersey City Medical Center after the New York Waterway ferry slammed into the pier, WPIX-TV, New York, said. No life-threatening injuries were reported.
