Some Connecticut towns forced to postpone Halloween because of Hurricane Sandy said they are pushing the holiday back further due to expected storms this week. Officials in Milford, Stratford, Guilford and Greenwich said the delayed Halloween festivities are being pushed back further than the original Wednesday target due to expected strong winds, precipitation and possible flooding, WFSB-TV, Hartford, Conn., reported Wednesday. Milford Mayor Benjamin Blake said he would like residents to wait until Friday to celebrate the holiday, while residents of Guilford are being asked to do the same. Officials in Stratford said Halloween has been moved to Saturday while Greenwich officials said they are aiming for Sunday.
