Cruise ship runs aground at Greek port, no injuries reported

A cruise ship with 2,469 passengers and 976 crew members on board ran aground Wednesday at the southeast Greek port of Piraeus, Greek port authorities said. There were no injuries or major damage arising from the accident with Panama-flagged ship Magnifica, said authorities, who believed bad weather conditions were a major factor. Experts are currently investigating the accident, while most of Greece continued to be swept by storms Wednesday.
