Fire damages hotel in Jamaica capital; no injuries

A popular hotel in Jamaica\'s capital has been evacuated after a fire broke out early Thursday. Firefighters say no injuries were reported. The fire apparently started in the kitchen of the Wyndham Hotel in New Kingston, the Jamaican capital\'s financial district. It\'s one of several hotels in the area that cater to business travelers and tourists, AP reported. Guests were taken to the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel just down the street as firefighters battled the blaze. It was not immediately clear how many guests were staying at the hotel when the fire started.
