Flooding in the Indonesian capital has left at least one person dead and nearly 6,000 displaced, dpa cited police as saying Tuesday.
Parts of Jakarta were under as much as two metres of water after heavy rain fell since Sunday night.
One person died after being swept away by floodwaters in the city centre, police spokesman Ronny Sompie said.
