Floods sparked by heavy rains have killed three people and left hundreds cut off in Spain and Portugal, authorities said Monday.A lorry driver and his passenger were killed when floods tore away part of the bridge he was crossing near Ciudad Real in south-central Portugal. According to the DPA the driver of another car was also killed.Two men were rescued from their car, which had been swept away by floods, in the south-west.About 125 people were meanwhile unable to leave a camping site in Albacete in the south-east.In neighbouring Portugal, the authorities were preparing to rescue nearly 150 people whose camping site was inundated by the river Xevora in the eastern Portalegre district.A flood alert was raised in several parts of Spain and Portugal.
