A man stabbed a woman to death and injured another on Tuesday morning in a hospital in Jiamusi City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
The man has been caught by police.
The attack happened in Jiamusi Maternal and Child Health Hospital and was out of personal revenge, Jiamusi municipal government said.
The suspect is alleged to have been angered after the mother of his 15-year-old pregnant girlfriend took her to the hospital for an abortion.
The two had a brawl, resulting in the girl's mother being stabbed to death by the man. A nurse was severely injured in the attack.
Police are investigating.
