Landslide traps 5 workers in China rail tunnel

Five workers were trapped in a rail tunnel after a landslide covered the tunnel's opening in northwest China's Gansu Province, rescuers said Saturday.
The landslide occurred at around 2 a.m. Saturday and closed off the mouth of a tunnel in Hongliangying Village, Yuzhong County. The under-construction tunnel is part of the Baoji-Lanzhou high-speed railway.
A ventilation system has been restored to supply air to the tunnel, according to rescuers.
Rescue efforts are under way.
