Man killed by train near Sarajevo

A man was hit and killed by a speeding train near Sarajevo on Friday, local media reported. The man, in his 40s, was hit near Rajlovac in late afternoon hours. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in Kosevo and was announced dead shortly. The cause of accident is still unknown. Local radio reports noted the train driver apparently did not see the man after the accident because he continued to drive the train. Police rushed to the scene and carried out investigation. The train service was interrupted for several hours after the accident.
