Nigerian police arrests 4 suspected armed robbers

The police in southwest Nigeria\'s Lagos State have arrested four suspected armed robbers who allegedly terrorize fun seekers at the National Arts Theatre in Lagos. State police spokesperson Samuel Jinadu disclosed this to reporters in Lagos on Saturday, saying the suspects were arrested on Thursday morning by men of the Anti-Robbery Squad. \"Members of the public who were being robbed sent distress calls to the state CID,\" Jinadu said. According to him, one knife, two locally-made pistols and two machetes were recovered from them. He said that the suspects had made useful statements that would help the police in their investigation.
