One person was killed on Thursday when part of a three-storey building collapsed in Southern Marka suburb in Amman, the Civil Defense Department (CDD) said.
The 17-year-old died on the spot in the incident, but no other injuries were reported, the CDD said.
Meanwhile, rescue crews evacuated the residents of the building and relocated them to a safe place.
