Officials at Penn State have an athletics integrity agreement on the school\'s Web site in compliance with suggestions made by the Freeh report. The agreement outlines how the athletics department plans to comply with recommendations in the report by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, which determined school officials concealed abuse allegations against former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, the State College Centre Daily Times reported Thursday. The school appointed former Sen. George Mitchell, D-Maine, to oversee the process of fulfilling the Freeh report\'s recommendations. \"Penn State is a world-class institution that prides itself on excellence in academics and athletics,\" said university President Rodney Erickson in a statement on the site. \"We pledge to work with Sen. Mitchell to meet the terms of the agreement and emerge from this process as a model for compliance.\" As part of the compliance agreement, the athletics department is obligated to revise its organizational structure to define clearly who reports to whom, it must appoint an athletics integrity officer and create an athletics integrity council, the Centre Daily Times reported.
