A pilot was killed when two small stunt planes collided Sunday at an air show in northern Switzerland, police said.
The second pilot managed to eject from his plane and parachuted to the ground after the 0915 GMT (11:15 am) collision in Dittingen.
Just before the crash three C42B-type planes, part of a German group called the "Grasshoppers", were flying when two of them collided for reasons that remain unknown, a police statement said.
The plane of the deceased pilot crashed into a barn without hurting anyone on the ground. A spokesman for police declined to provide the nationalities of the flyers.
The air show in Dittingen has been in existence for over 60 years and draws hundreds of pilots from Switzerland and abroad, organisers said.
In 2005 a fatal accident occurred at the same show, according to the Swiss news agency ATS.
