A fire broke out at a petrochemical pipeline facility in the U.S. state of Texas Tuesday, leaving two workers injured, local media reported. The fire erupted around Tuesday noon at a barge loading facility owned by pipeline giant Enterprise Products Partners in La Porte city in southeast Texas, the website of the Houston Chronicle reported. Two workers were treated for minor injuries from the blaze, company spokesman Rick Rainey told the Chronicle. They were treated and released from care later, Rainey added. Police said no explosions were reported, but flames and smoke were seen on local TV footage. The fire was contained but is still burning now, said the report. Natural gas liquids, such as propane and butane, were ignited in the blaze. No public health risks were reported, police said, and there were no evacuations or shelter-in-place orders issued. The pipeline facility has been shut down. Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire. Enterprise Products Partners, a member of the Fortune 500, is a natural gas and crude oil pipeline company headquartered in Houston.
