Police: 5 killed in India building collapse

Indian police said that five restaurant workers were killed and 15 others were injured on Monday when a two-story hotel collapsed in the southern Indian city of Secunderabad. Local NDTV said that nearly 40 people might still be trapped in the debris of City Light Hotel that collapsed at around 6:30 a.m. local time. Police, fire fighting personnel and rescue workers managed to evacuate 10 people from the rubble and shift them to a nearby hospital, the TV station reported.
