Road accident in north China kills 4, injures 4

A road crash early Thursday in north China's Hebei Province has killed four people and injured another four, local authorities said.
The accident took place at 2:54 a.m. outside a wholesale vegetable market in Xushui County, when a truck carrying millet crashed three parking carts on the roadside.
One person was killed at the scene, while another three died later in hospital.
Another four people were injured and rushed to hospital.
The driver of the truck has been detained. Further investigation is under way.
