Nine people were killed in a car collision in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, local authorities said Friday.
The accident happened at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday when a bus collided head-on with an unloaded natural gas tanker truck on an icy road in Linkou County, according to the county government.
Eight people were killed on the spot, and one died on the way to hospital. Twelve people remain slightly injured.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
