
At least fifteen people were killed and over twenty others wounded on Monday when a speeding passenger bus fell into a ravine in Mirpur area of Northern Pakistan side of Kashmir, said police.
According to police, the passenger bus was traveling from Bhimber to Samahani area when the driver lost control over the vehicle at Poona area due to over speeding and the bus fell into a ravine.
At least fifteen passengers lost their lives on the spot while twenty others sustained injuries, said police.
The police and rescue teams reached the site of the incident soon and retrieved the dead bodies and injured persons out of the bus with the assistance of locals present in the area.
The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital where condition of three more passengers was reported critical.
