Staff tackle serious disturbance at British prison

Staff at a British prison were on Sunday trying to contain an "ongoing incident", the security firm that manages the facility said, with media reporting a "serious disturbance". "We can confirm that there is an ongoing incident taking place on a wing at Oakwood prison," a G4S statement said. "The situation is contained and we are applying standard procedures to manage the incident." British media said a "serious disturbance" had broken out at the prison near Wolverhampton, central England, which was the scene of a number of rooftop protests last year.
