Suicide attack kills 8 in Afghanistan

Eight people were killed and nearly 40 others were injured in a suicide attack at the mosque courtyard in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz. The spokesman of Kunduz police department said, a suicide bomber blew himself up among people who gathered for a funeral ceremony at the Mevlevi Gazi mosque courtyard. Eight people including the governor of Dest-i Arci district were killed and nearly 40 others were injured. The health condition of some of the injured ones were reported to be deteriorated. No one has claimed the responsibility for the attack but local authorities blamed Taliban.
