Jeddah - Arab Today

Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Tawfiq bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sudairi said the criminal act in Madinah did not take into account the sanctity of the place, the time and innocent lives. The incident will increase the determination of citizens in the fight against terrorism in various forms and manifestations, he said.
In Makkah, the Muslim World League expressed condemnation over the terrorist acts in Jeddah, Madinah and Qatif.
In this context, Asir Gov. Prince Faisal bin Khalid said the terrorist acts witnessed in Madinah, Jeddah and Qatif have demonstrated the volume of enmity shown by the terrorists against the Kingdom through the violation of the sanctity of the Holy Month of Ramadan and shedding the blood of worshippers in the holiest place.
For its part, the Yemeni government vehemently condemned the terrorist and criminal acts which targeted Madinah, Jeddah and Qatif.
The Yemeni government expressed full solidarity with the government and people of the Kingdom toward any attempts directed against it.

It also expressed deep condolences to the government, people of the Kingdom, and families of the victims of these incidents, asking Allah, Almighty, to keep the Kingdom and its people from all harm.
For his part, Mufti of Jordan Abdul Karim Al-Khasawnah condemned the Madinah incident and other bombings in the Kingdom, adding that the terrorist thought never distinguishes between a holy and normal place.
In Libya, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation also condemned the terrorist acts in the Kingdom adding that terrorism does not have religion and never respects the holy sites of Muslims or distinguishes between nationalities, races or countries.
In a statement, the Libyan Foreign Ministry called for coordination of efforts in fighting terrorism and laying down a clear-cut strategy to wipe out this malignant tumor.
Algeria also joined other countries in condemning the terrorist attacks in the Kingdom. Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Sharif said the perpetrators of the bombings, which came to other holy places, did not hesitate to target surroundings of the Prophet’s Mosque in these blessed days of the Holy Month of Ramadan in which all Muslims are preparing to receive the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.
Likewise, the Palestinian National Council (PNC) condemned the terrorist acts in Madinah and Qatif. Head of the PNC Dr. Salim Al-Zanoun said this deviant group has unveiled its ugly face for not respecting the sanctity of the Holy Month of Ramadan or the Prophet’s Mosque. He expressed the PNC’s full support and solidarity with government and people of the Kingdom in the face of terror.
