
Typhoon Fung-Wong has left at least ten people dead and seven others injured in northern parts of the Philippines, including Metro Manila, the country's disaster management agency said on Sunday.
Of those who died, two were female and the rest were male, who were either drowned, electrocuted, or hit by falling objects, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
A total of 183,188 families or 840,368 persons were affected by the storm, of which 42,897 families or 197,509 persons were now residing in evacuation centers.
Four landslide incidents were reported and an estimated 75 roads and three bridges are not passable yet, according to the council.
