UK considers further support to fight against Daesh

UK Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has met with counter-Daesh Coalition counterparts to review progress and consider further steps to accelerate the campaign, the UK Ministry of Defence said.
The meeting with counterparts from ten countries in the Global Coalition against Daesh today reviewed recent progress and considered further steps to accelerate the campaign, the ministry added.
The UK's consideration of a further training and advisory package to help Iraqi ground forces tackle the terrorist organisation was also high on the agenda of the meeting.
