Ultralight aircraft crash kills 2 in southeastern France

An ultralight plane crashed on Tuesday during takeoff from Castellet airfield in the Var, southeastern France, killing two people onboard, according to local reports. According to preliminary investigation, the pilot was ejected following the accident which took place at the end of the runway during takeoff. while the second victim was stuck inside the plane before rescuers took out of the device. No further details were released on the victims and the cause of the crash.
