Pennsylvania police said a man who offered a \"high five\" to an officer who pointed out his headlights weren\'t on was arrested on drunken driving charges. Tyrone police said an officer on foot flagged down Gerald Decker, 27, around 1:20 a.m. Feb. 20 and informed him that his headlights were off, The Altoona (Pa.) Mirror reported Monday. Decker allegedly said, \"Thanks, buddy\" and offered a \"high five\" to Officer Adam Bonsell, but the officer refused. \"That\'s not how it works,\" Bonsell told Decker before asking him to step out of the vehicle. Decker failed several field sobriety tests and a blood test found his alcohol content to be 0.219 percent, far above the 0.08 percent limit for driving, officials said. Decker is charged with driving under the influence, driving without headlights, driving on a suspended license and careless driving. An arraignment and a preliminary hearing are slated for March 27.
