US welcomes any dialogue between Afghanistan, Pakistan

The United States welcomes any improvement in the bilateral relationship between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the State Department said Wednesday. In response to a reporter\'s question about Afghan President Hamid Karzai\'s recent trip to Islamabad, State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said that \"we welcome any opportunity for increased bilateral dialogue between Afghanistan and Pakistan.\" \"For any additional details of the visit, I\'d refer you to those two governments. But again, we would welcome any opportunity like this one for increased dialogue,\" Harf said.
