Woman likely lived with dad\'s corpse for 1 year in Spain

Police in Catalan, Spain, said a 37-year-old woman likely lived with her father\'s decomposed body in her apartment for more than a year. Police found the woman\'s body after her neighbors complained about a stench coming from her apartment, TheLocal.es reported Wednesday. Police believe the woman had been dead for about a month before her body was found. When they searched her apartment they also found the badly decomposed body of her father, who had likely been there for more than a year. Spanish news agency Europa Press said it wasn\'t the first time neighbors complained about a stench coming from the apartment. About a year prior police investigated a similar complaint and the woman told them her father had moved back to his native Aragon region of Spain. Forensic analysts said the man\'s body was likely inside the apartment when police visited the first time. The nature of the woman and man\'s deaths and their names weren\'t reported.
