Man stabs barber to death after friends make fun

In a hair-raising incident, a 28-year-old man stabbed to death a barber with a meat skewer after his friends mocked his new look and he thought it was a "bad haircut".

The entire incident - which took place in the town of Troitsk, 23 miles south of Moscow - was caught on CCTV.

It shows the infuriated customer Pavel Luzyanin running after 24-year-old Dany-Dastan Adkhamov, the hairdresser, in the street. He stabs him thrice in the chest.

After stabbing the barber, Luzyanin walks away as Adkhamov falls on the ground. The passers-by don't react, except a cyclist who gets down to help the injured.

Luzyanin returns and then stabs him again - this time in the neck.

The barber dies even before the ambulance could arrive.

The victim, known to his friends as Danya, was an illegal immigrant from Uzbekistan who had set up a thriving business with many regular customers offering cut price haircuts, a MailOnline report said.

On Friday, Adkhamov gave a trim to Luzyanin for 200 roubles (Dh12.5). He left, but came back very angry the next day. The barber said he would improve his haircut soon. He went away again. But his friends at a nearby car repair shop scoffed at him. They apparently said his hair was "cut like a prisoner".

An enraged Luzyanin entered the shop, and chased the barber out into the street. He stabbed him till Adkhamov collapsed.

Traffic police nabbed Luzyanin as he tried to leave Moscow region after the murder.
The cops said the man had been jailed for robbery and car theft in the past.

Adkhamov's friends and clients are raising money to send his body back to his family in Uzbekistan. He was his mother's only son, and she depended on the money he sent home, the report pointed out.
