Award included Indian Ocean’s Most Romantic Resort Malé - Arabstoday In the World Travel Awards announced this May, Baros Maldives outshone its competition by being the only resort to win three top titles: Indian Ocean’s Leading Resort, Indian Ocean’s Most Romantic Resort and Maldives’ Leading Water Villa Resort. The World Travel Awards are known as the Oscars of the travel world and presented as a result of inspection and recommendation by travel industry professionals. This year the resort has also won Trip Advisor Awards as number one for Romance in Asia, as well as the world’s eighth top hotel.
