Bahrain slams attacks on civilians in Syria

Bahrain's Permanent Delegate to the Arab League (AL) Rashid bin Abdurrahman Al Khalifa slammed on Wednesday attacks on civilians in Aleppo and targeting of medical facilities there.
Addressing an Arab League meeting, Khalifa said such crimes are against humanity and violate the UN Security Council resolution on that score.
He called on the UN Security Council to intervene to end violence in Syria and ensure commitment to the ceasefire decision.
Khalifa stressed that those responsible for such crimes should be brought to trial before the International Criminal Court.
