Representatives Council condemns Duraz terror blast

The Council of Representatives has condemned the terror blast that targeted on-duty security personnel in Duraz last Sunday, resulting in the death of a policemen and the injury of two others.
The council, in a statement, offered deepest condolences to the family of the fallen Interior Ministry’s policeman, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace, bless his relatives with patience and fortitude and grant the wounded quick recovery.

The Representatives Council reiterated its categorical rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, stressing that the terror acts, emanating from an extremist ideology that is odd to the pacifist Bahraini society, will not succeed in achieving the goals of internal and external powers of evil to fragment Bahraini society and undermine its cohesion.

This is because of the robust cohesion between the loyal people and the leadership, as well as of the solidarity of all social segments and their rallying together to foil such criminal acts, the council also said in its statement.

The Council of Representatives expressed confidence in the ability of Bahrain’s security authorities to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect Bahrain against evil and bless it with ever-lasting security, under its leadership.
