Adler gets Germany recall

Rene Adler has earned a recall to the Germany squad for the friendly against the Nethlerands next Wednesday. Almost two years to the day since his last international appearance, the Hamburg goalkeeper is in the frame for his 11th cap after some impressive performances in the Bundesliga recently. There is also a new face in Joachim Low\'s 22-man squad, with Schalke midfielder Roman Neustadter receiving his first call-up. \"I am delighted that Rene has been able to get back to his best again after his long injury,\" said Low. \"He should now get the chance to prove himself on the international stage again.
