Atletico Mineiro missed out on the win they needed to keep the pressure on Campeonato leaders Fluminense on Wednesday. The home match against Flamengo ended in a 1-1 draw, which leaves Atletico eight points behind the pacesetters with five games remaining. Flamengo took the lead in the 28th minute through Renato Abreu - but the dismissal of Wellington Silva two minutes before the interval was a setback for the visitors. Goncalves Silva levelled the scores 13 minutes into the second half - but it was 10-a-side seven minutes later when Carlos Cesar was dismissed and there was no further scoring. From FIFA
