Basel win at Sion to move top

FC Basel moved to the top of the Swiss Super League thanks to a 1-0 away win over FC Sion. Jacques Zoua scored the only goal of the match just before half-time to move ahead of Lucerne by a point in the overall standings. Servette beat Grasshoppers 4-1 at the Stadion Letzigrund after two injury time goals from Jacques Moubandje and Antonio De Azevedo Goran Karanovic scored for Servette before Grasshoppers were reduced to 10 men when Jacopo La Rocca saw red in the 56th minute. Matias Vitkieviez added Servette\'s second before Michael Lang scored for the home side five minutes before the final whistle Two injury time strikes then dashed Grasshoppers\' hopes of earning a draw as the capital based club fell to second bottom in the overall standings. FC Zurich beat FC Thun 2-0 thanks to a first-half goal by Alexandre Alphonse and Ricardo Rodriguez\'s injury time penalty. The game between Neuchatel Xamax and Young Boys was postponed and will now be played tomorrow.
